A BRAND NEW CHAR
I'm Char (that's with an "sh" sound, not a "ch" sound. Like "Shark" minus the K.) and I am new, bringing along one Mai Tokiha from Mai-HiME.
Mai is just a regular, Japanese high school student. Really. Okay, back home she's one of thirteen magical girls of a breed called "HiME", brought together to a school campus for a mysterious reason. Happy fun times ensue.
Mai is (usually) of the school of trying to encourage everyone to get along rather than fight. And she tends to be pretty friendly and cheerful. (Though with a slight tsundere side towards some.) Only...she's a bit of a Stepford Smiler who likes to hide her worries from her friends. Only she's kind of forgotten how to smile here. Feel free to notice her constant lack of smiling (until that memory gets unlocked) in the meantime.
