Hiatus for Elle and extended hiatus for Ru

Elle-mod has moved house today and is without internet, hopefully she will have it in the next week but until then will be unavailable and is on hiatus. This effects Nanami Yasuri, Recette Lemongrass, Flynn Scifo and Sora Himoto

On a connected note Ru-mod (Santana Lopez, Dolorosa and Arthur Pendragon) who was on hiatus until today has moved into the same internet-less house and so her hiatus has been extended until some time next week!

Which does mean that you just have me! Katy-mod for all your modding needs over the next week! Feel free to poke me on plurk (Damua) or AIM (jipaltara) if you need any thing!

Activity check!

It is once again time for AC!

To pass activity check you must have made one post or two comment threads of any size since the last Activity check (5th- 12th August). To qualify for AC the post must be open (not locked or private to one other character)

Activity check will last until the 8th of September, after which a list of those characters in danger of being removed will be put up. If you are on this list you will have until the 11th September to report your activity or talk to the mods about extenuating circumstances.

Characters who arrived in-game for Round 14 (so those whose arrival date was the 1st September) are exempt from activity check for this month, as are those on hiatus.

End of Round 13

Once again it is the end of the round!

Rest day will last from today until 8th September. You can continue to backtag as much as you wish and make posts set in the last round but starting today characters apped in during the past two weeks can arrive in Rakuen. The arrival post is here, and threads for you to register with the head prefects will go up later tonight.

Just a reminder to make sure your posts are labeled clearly as to whether they are set on the Rest Day or in Round 13, as for obvious reasons new characters can only take part in Rest Day threads.

- As a reminder, for the rest day, no one is a Player or a Weapon, so you can go wherever you like in the town. You can also go and apply for jobs, which will earn you 5 raks per rest day. Jobs are available in most places, such as various shops, restaurants and the cinema. You will also get free entry or a discount to wherever you work! Remember to let us know on the job application post.

- RAKS. Here is how to work out how many Raks your character has by the end of this round.

New characters had twenty (20) raks to start with.

1. If your character taught or attended classes this week, they got one rak per day, not including the rest day. Add 6 raks.

2. Whatever your role (Player/Weapon) or outcome, you earn 3 raks per battle. Tally up the battles your character participated in, and multiply that by 3.

3. Players earn 5 raks for every Weapon they win or vow with, no matter whether they still own them by the end of the round. Count how many Weapons your character owned throughout the round, and multiply that by 5.

4. Did your Player character win the round? They get 10 raks.

5. Are you a Weapon belonging to a winning Player (see above)? You get 4 raks. For a list of all Round Winners look here

6. Did your characters buy anything during the round? Subtract the raks for that now.

7. At the end of the round, the dominant school gives 10 raks to every character. This round Conquest won as they won more interschool battles and fought more in general.

8. Rest day job? Add 5 raks.

That's your rak total!

- Sign ups for next round are here and will be open until 5th September, when the Players will be announced.

- Prefects! Remember that you can organise for tours and question/answer sessions led by your characters for new characters. Apart from the platform duty which will be in the usual mod post players of Prefect characters are responsible for making the post for their tour or question and answer session. If you have any questions or need help feel free to ask the mods!
