The following characters remained on the warned list last month and have not posted activity. They have been removed and are free to apply for.

Result of Polls; Changes

Hello everyone!

As you all know, earlier this week we had a series of polls. We've gathered all of your comments, along with the poll results themselves, and collected them into a snazzy report for you here.

Time Frame.

- It has been decided that we are keeping a 2:1 ratio, but adding an OoC 'rest week' in-between each round. This week will be nominally IC!Saturday all week long. New characters may arrive throughout this week, whilst established players can use it as a chance to finish threads from the round before, or even starting any threads that you didn't have time for.

- We are bringing this into effect this week, as a trial. Therefore this current round (Round 5) will end as normal on Friday the 16th. On the 17th March (Saturday IC and OOC), new characters will start to arrive by train and meet the prefects. The following week will be the OOC rest week, with the final day being the Friday.

- As you can see, we've decided to move the Round Change back from Monday to Saturday, so that more people will be around and not in work/school/space, and to make it four days OoC to give you more time to scramble around IC. Since a lot of the round currently gets spent with this initial faffing around, making it artificially longer seems to be the best plan. That means Round 6 will begin on Saturday the 24th March.

- New characters can enter all week and any apps accepted up until the Saturday of the Round Change assembly will be entering that round. (So in the case of round 6, all characters accepted until the 24th are considered to have arrived on IC!Saturday). This replaces our policy of saying any new characters may arrive up until the first OOC Tuesday of a round, and will hopefully ensure no one gets lost by having to deal with introing and round change all at once.

- The Player Sign-up post will still go up on the second Wednesday of a round, but will remain up until the Wednesday of the rest week, at which point the Players will be chosen and the list unveiled OoC.

- Though you are free to log battles (or anything else) in the OoC rest week, we ask that all battles are recorded by the IC Friday if possible. So that we know which school has won and characters can claim their prize money on IC Saturday. Late entries can be handled in extenuating circumstances, but we don't encourage it.

Vowing.

- Most people voted in favour of releasing the Player list early. Therefore the Player list will be released on the Thursday of the rest week, hence the post closing the day before. That will give you a couple of days for plotting before assembly goes up on the Saturday.

- As we did this round we will be putting up a "Still Searching" thread up on the plotting meme a couple of days into the round, and screening old threads.

Buddy System.

- This was voted in by a large majority. We will be asking people if they require a buddy on apps and pairing them with volunteers, as outlined in the poll post. To volunteer to be a buddy, please go here and leave your name, your characters, and your preferred method of contact.

- If you are a neuling waiting to intro into Round 6 and you would like a buddy please comment to this mod post and let us know so we can set you up with somebody!

- We also have a Neuling Welcome Post on crackuen, for people waiting for their turn to intro.

Anything Else.

- Ellemod would like to remind everyone, new or not, that if they want to change memories, upgrades or other character sections that were on their app, this is fine and they should grab her on AIM to discuss it. She promises not to bite.

Google calendar happy fun times moe announcemeeeent!

Hey guys! I know in a game with a non-1:1 time schedule, it can get tough to keep up with what day it currently is. That's where I come in! With my burning passionate desire to help people keep their heads on straight, I'm currently keeping this Google calendar for Rakuen up to date. It shows the length of each round, what days start when, what date OOC announcements happen on, and also the current OOC day is highlighted in yellow.

I hope this is helpful to everyone! And if there are any errors anywhere, please do let me know.
