The final stage of the tournament is up! There is a fight for third place in the afternoon and then the grand final in the evening.

3PM: Daenerys Targaryen vs Arthur Pendragon
6PM: Duzell vs Stellaluna

The IC post is here. Some of the threads are placeholders as I don't know which Weapons the characters are using yet, please reply to this post to let me know so it can be announced IC.

Please decide who is winning by 8th June or like earlier rounds I will flip a coin to decide the winner. Please report the winner to the Battle Records.

Hello!

I don’t know his canon either, but looking at his Wiki page, I think his vitality would be the biggest barrier. Maybe if I could get a better rundown of his abilities? I can’t find his info on Wikipedia itself (not the Rakuen Wiki).

Assuming Adam is a normal human being, I believe Duzell should be able to defeat him. You mentioned he is capable of fighting. Is he a strong warrior?

Duzell just got new weapons, and I need to see what abilities they have.

Adam is the knight of a story in the world of Shitsurakuen, so he's not a major character. As I already said, I don't personally know how good he is at fighting - I'll see if I can get his mun to weigh in on that - but there aren't any losses so far as I can tell.

None of the weapons Duzell currently has possess Flight - two of the ones Stellaluna is bringing with her do (Cirno and Gino). If Cirno equipped her Master Spark instead of, say, Water Element, then Duzell could be attacked from a distance.

Cirno also has Battle Aura, which will boost Offense and Vitality every minute because she's reached the outbreak condition.

None of Duzell's Weapons have long-range attacks, either. This alone places them at least on equal ground.

It turns out Stellaluna doesn't actually have Adam, and instead she will be using Flynn and giving him the Pact ring. Now, I do know Flynn's canon, and he's the best knight his land - possibly that world - has, particularly because he's taken from after the game ends.

Add that in with what I've mentioned in my last comment regarding Weapons and their upgrades, and there's a very good chance of Stella outright winning.

We can decide a victor, let a mod flip for it, or wait until tomorrow and have a mod flip for it anyway.

Vesperia, right? I know the canon. My main concern stems from the fact that Duzell has over a hundred years of fighting experience and strategic intelligence. I’m not discounting Flynn’s skills, but I don’t believe he has the experience to defeat him. In VG, Duzell’s prowess as a swordsman is the main reason why he is so powerful and difficult to defeat. Giving him magic is overkill.

And also being a Tales fan, I know there isn’t usually one sole character who is ridiculously strong and dwarfs the other party members. (Except maybe Luke from Abyss.)

I’m getting clarification on something else, so I will respond later when I get an answer.

Isn’t there also the option to log out the fight to decide a victor?

The reason I stated it was likely for them to at least be matched is because, as I said, Stella's side will have Flight and Master Spark; unless Duzell plans on throwing a weapon, that would render Stella's assigned player unreachable and able to attack from a distance.

And yes, that is an option, but the log would have to be finished in less than 12 hours and I am not going to be around the rest of today.

I suspect Duzell is undefeatable in his own world, but in a game like this it doesn't work to have a character who always wins. There are some other characters in Rakuen who are also undefeatable in their own worlds, but that's the thing - this is not their world, and it is not Duzell's world.
