Utopia Academy is officially open to the public! (Not that the beta wasn't, but... you know. Whatever.) And as of today, we officially have 28 players and 53 characters. Thanks, everyone! We love you so much.

A few things for the start of the game!

1) rakuen's sidebar now has a nifty little reminder of the current date, weather, element in power (yeah, that's going to get some use now that beta is over) and the current round's players. If you ever forget, just look there!

2) There are two modposts going up: One for characters who were around for the beta [here], and one for the new incoming kids [here]. Make sure to tag the proper one! (Beta characters can join into the new kids post once it's underway, but they'll have to make their way to the front entrance from their dorms, is all.)

3) Any questions? The mods live to serve! Post them here, or ask us on AIM. The chat is called exaclan if you want to join us.

Hi there! Lance here again, with another character! He is SSA Dr. Spencer Reid of the FBI. Yes, he has both titles. A few things you need to know about Dr. Reid. He has an eidetic memory, where he remembers everything he's ever read, and it seems to occasionally apply to photos and events around him.

A couple other notes. For those not familiar, he's from Criminal Minds, an American crime procedural that follows a team of profilers. Based on behavior, they are able to predict certain aspects of a criminal, from record, to age and gender, and that kind of thing. Aside from being a font of useless knowledge, facts, and statistics about pretty much anything, he also tends to focus on body language. If he has reason to watch, he'll know a lot about a person's real emotions based upon what they do vs. what they say. But a lot of it is unconscious, and he'll be mentally compiling information on most anyone he talks to.

He's also 25, and he already possesses three Ph.D's, and two bachelor's degrees. He graduated HS at 15.

Um, hi!

My name's Oli and I just squirmed in here before the game opened-- and I'm bringing in Road Kamelot from the manga D.Gray-Man. I'm really new to Dreamwidth, so I'm feeling my way around but I hope to have some fun playing here, hehe. My AIM is OurGravities, if anyone wants to reach me for anything! I'm up for plotting and chatter and all that good stuff.

As for a random fact about myself, uh. I am usually if not... always cold, so I tote around blankets and sweaters when other people can be wearing t-shirts and tank tops. Bah.
